The production, directed by Yvette, won seven awards including the AUGUST WILSON PLAYWRIGHT AWARD for Yvette, LEAD ACTRESS for Yvonne and DRAMATIC PRODUCTION OF THE YEAR for the Billie Holiday Theatre.

Twinbiz launched a National Black HIV/AIDS Theatre Initiative on February 7, 2011, to be held annually on National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. To this end, Twinbiz was honored with a RESOLUTION from the City of Los Angeles. It is Twinbiz’ goal that at least one play be read or produced in Black churches and theaters across America until this disease, where Blacks account for almost half the nations new infection rates, is eradicated in our communities

Yvonne will be a guest artist at the Sing A Mile High Children’s Choral Festival June 23-26, 2011 premiering new ballets, Untraveled Worlds by Paul Halley and the new work, Ev'ry Time I Feel the Spirit conducted and arranged by Rollo Dilworth. National Black HIV & AIDS Theatre Initiative

Twinbiz looks forward welcoming greater participation for the National Black HIV/ AIDS Theatre Initiative in 2012. All interested parties in the National Black HIV/AIDS Theatre Initiative are invited to participate this summer in a round-table discussion calling all black theatres and theatre artists to join in the movement to bring a play about HIV/AIDS to a theatre near you! This roundtable is being presented as part of the 2011 Stepping Up In Faith for HIV/AIDS and will be held on Monday, July 11, 2011 from 6:00 – 9:00pm at Dwyer Cultural Center, 258 St. Nicholas Avenue, Harlem, NY. 2011 Stepping Up In Faith for HIV/AIDS has free events happening borough-wide in New York City from July 10 – 16, 2011.
